Experience the ultimate winter adventure with a snowmobile safari through the Lappish wilderness. This exhilarating ride that lasts for 3-4 hrs takes you deep into the heart of Lapland and the snow covered landscape.

Add an extra layer of excitement to your Lapland Arctic Adventure when you visit Europe's only surviving Amthyst Mine. Your experience begins with a trip to the mine in a pendolino, followed by a special talk about the history of the mine, and a hands on experience where you can dig for your own precious amethyst. If you find one and it fits within the palm of your closed hand, you get to keep it as a unique souvenir of your Lapland holiday.

While in Luosto or Pyha, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of optional excursions at your leisure. These excursions can usually be pre-booked or reserved upon arrival in the resort with the local safari companies.
